“My paintings are inspired by the natural landscape and my camera is a constant companion. Growing up on a ranch in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia I spent many hours outdoors on horseback. What a way to see nature, so unobtrusive, natural, and what freedom.

I had the good fortune to be educated in design and illustration when everything was ‘hands on’. After graduation from Capilano University I was hired as their graphic designer. My independent nature thrived in that environment of creative challenges, interesting projects, and wonderful co-workers.

I then began freelance design and photo journalism, and later founded my drawing and painting school BellinghamART. Teaching so many children, teens and adults and fostering their art education has given me immense pleasure and the good fortune to pursue what I love most, drawing and painting.”
