Born and raised in Cowlitz County, Jennifer Eaton White is a fourth generation Washingtonian who grew up in the foothills of the Cascade mountain range, and spent much of her early years exploring the forests there. Her interest in visual art began in early childhood, and continued through high school. She studied printmaking at Western Washington University from 1993- 1997.
For the last two decades, Jennifer has been slowly honing her skills in oil paint, watercolor, and encaustic wax. A recent return to printmaking has inspired her to combine these mediums into small works influenced by memory and observation.
These impressions are chronicled in multiple through print, accented with watercolor, and sealed in wax, a single moment frozen in time. She invites the viewer to pause and experience the unique beauty of the Pacific Northwest landscape through her perspective.
Her home studio is located in Vancouver, WA, where she lives with her husband, Chris, and daughter, Cassady.
