WILL BOSWELL | DEBY HARVEY | JOANNE BOHANNON

Smith & Vallee Gallery Presents: A Trio of Artists Celebrating Nature, Memory, and Imagination
Smith & Vallee Gallery is pleased to present a group
exhibition featuring three distinctive artists whose works invite viewers into worlds of nostalgia,
movement, and storytelling. Together, they create a dynamic dialogue between painting,
sculpture, and mixed media, all rooted in the beauty and wonder of the natural world.
Will Boswell’s paintings carry a sense of nostalgia for landscapes both familiar and imagined.
Influenced by mentors and masters such as Russel Chatham and Claude Monet, Boswell’s work
is timeless, drawing inspiration from the Northwest as well as California and Montana. Each
piece is framed by hand in his own woodshop, showcasing his dual talents as both painter and
craftsman.
Deby Harvey presents sculptural copper works that balance strength and grace. Her pieces
capture the fluidity of nature through elegant curves, leaf-like forms, and organic patinas. By
pairing copper with natural found objects, Harvey blurs the boundary between the real and the
imagined, embodying the vitality and movement of the natural world.
Joanne Bohannon offers a playful body of mixed-media work inspired by the wildlife in her own
garden. Owls, crows, and their surprising antics find new life in her art, which combines
ceramics with found objects. Each piece carries the intimate feel of a cabinet of curiosities,
inviting viewers into miniature museums of humor, memory, and natural wonder.
This exhibition brings together three artists with unique perspectives, each connected by their
ability to transform everyday experiences and environments into lasting works of art.
